Direct & Permanent Marking (DPM)
The direct and permanent marking of each component, sub-assembly, and finished product provides the necessary traceability from the workshop to the end user.
Batches, unitary parts, or large series numbers help track and protect its products, thus you must be able to identify and track them.
Direct part marking is permanent and is the only means of definitive protection of the finished product but is also used in production: internal traceability, peering of parts and sub-assemblies, manufacturing tracking, and improvement of quality control, etc.
To obtain real time information about the progress of a product (metal, plastic, organic material, glass, ceramic, etc.) through its life cycle, it must be marked in a unique, permanent and individual manner : this is serialization. Serialization marks products with unique random codes.
